How do I request a WebCT course?
|
It is not necessary to request a WebCat course. WebCat is synchronized with WCU's Banner system, and all courses that exist in Banner are automatically created in WebCat. All you have to do is login and any courses you are listed as the instructor of record for in Banner will automatically be available to you. .

How and when do my students get uploaded to my course?
|
Because WebCat is synchronized with Banner, your students will be enrolled in your WebCat course as soon as they register.
They will not see the course until the first day of class, however. This gives you the opportunity to develop content for the course without worrying about students accessing it while in an incomplete state.

How can I save and reuse course material from old courses.
|
The first time you enter a newly-created course in WebCat, you will have a number of options available to you. One of these is to copy content from an existing course. Simply select this option and choose the course that you wish to use the content from.
Note that once you choose one of the initial options, you will no longer be presented with this "wizard" upon entering the course. If you make a choice and later decide that you would prefer different content for your course, you may fill out the content transfer request form and the WebCat team will be happy to assist you.
